getting rejected by AdSense — looking for guidance

February 6, 2026 -- views • -- viewers

Looking for help with getting rejected by AdSense — hoping someone has been through this.

A bit about where I am:

Hey, I've been rejected 10+ times - all our content is original and I can only think that we are missing something but not sure where... any help would be great.

Specifically, I want advice on:

  • My overall website

My website: https://esportsradar.gg/

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey Alfie, welcome.

I crawled your entire site... sitemaps, source code, console logs, mobile rendering. Your content isn't the problem. It's better than 95% of AdSense applicants. Google is bouncing you before they even read your articles.

Your Score: 72/100

What's working great:

  • 1,039 original articles, 3-5 per day, ~870 avg word count - far exceeds minimums

  • 5 named authors, strong E-E-A-T (Victor Frascarelli's credentials are solid)

  • Clean design, mobile responsive, proper technical SEO via Yoast

  • Sponsored content properly labeled, privacy/transparency statement is thorough

  • No prohibited content, no copyright issues, no AI/spun content

What's killing your application:

Issue

Severity

Terms of Service page is a 404 - but every newsletter signup asks users to agree to it

CRITICAL

About Us page has Lorem Ipsum in the HTML source (twice - header area and "In The Press" section)

CRITICAL

Privacy policy doesn't mention Google AdSense or Google's ad cookies by name

HIGH

Contact page has no email, no address, no company name - just a form

MEDIUM-HIGH

JavaScript TypeError errors on every single page

MEDIUM

Sportize-Bold.woff2 font file fails to load sitewide

MEDIUM

No Disclaimer page (you cover financial figures like $45M commitments)

MEDIUM

"Latest" category shows articles from April 2025, not actual latest

MEDIUM

Homepage has no meta description and generic title tag ("Homepage - The Esports Radar")

LOW

W3 Total Cache installed but returning no-cache headers

LOW

Cookie Declaration page renders with default WordPress widgets

LOW

No CCPA compliance language in privacy policy

LOW

Fix this today:

  1. Create the Terms of Service page (cover acceptable use, IP rights, liability, governing law, newsletter terms)

  2. Remove all Lorem Ipsum from About Us page source code

  3. Add Google AdSense disclosure to privacy policy + link to https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

  4. Add email (enquiries@esportsradar.gg), company name (The Insights Group Global Limited), and address to Contact page

Fix this tomorrow:

  1. Fix the JS console errors (null reference TypeErrors)

  2. Fix the broken font file

  3. Fix "Latest" category taxonomy

  4. Create a Disclaimer page

Fix this week:

  • Homepage title/meta description

  • Cache headers

  • Cookie declaration page

  • CCPA language

You already have AdSense code installed (ca-pub-1544511567788526). Don't hit "request review" yet. Fix everything, then reapply fresh. You'll jump to 85-90 range.

Your content is excellent. It's the paperwork that's failing you.

Alfie, your content isn't the problem. Trust me on that.

When a site gets reviewed, the first thing that gets checked isn't your articles, it's your legal pages. Privacy policy, terms of service, about page. If any of those fail, the review stops there. Your content never even gets looked at.

Your ToS page doesn't exist. Your About page has Lorem Ipsum in the source.

Though it's commented out, try to remove these, it makes your site like an underconstruction website.

Your privacy policy doesn't name AdSense or Google's ad cookies. These aren't "nice to fix" items. These are the exact reasons applications get auto-rejected before a single article is read.

Fix those three things. Reapply fresh... The irony is your actual content is better than most sites that get approved on the first try.
