The application itself is simple. The waiting is hard. Here's how to submit and what to expect.
Create Google AdSense account (or use existing)
Add your website URL to AdSense
Copy the AdSense verification code
Add verification code to your site's <head> section
Verify code is installed correctly
Create ads.txt file in root directory
Add Google AdSense line to ads.txt
Verify ads.txt is accessible at yoursite.com/ads.txt
Click 'Request Review' to submit application
Understand review timeline: 24 hours to 2+ weeks
DO NOT remove verification code while under review
Keep publishing content while waiting
Don't submit multiple applications simultaneously
Check AdSense dashboard for status updates
Read rejection email/reason carefully
Fix ALL identified issues before reapplying
Wait at least 1-2 weeks before reapplying
Don't give up — many successful publishers faced rejection first
